Motor Controls & Low Voltage Electrical
Prototype Design
A Prototype design build project for one of my clients. Build used an Applied Motion Servo & Drive with Redlion Touchscreen interface control it. Was able to downsize the servo system by incorporating a Inline gear box. This also had an effect of increasing the precision of the movement.
Custom Wiring Harness
-A local custom bike builder required me to clean up & repair the
wiring harness on some of his custom builds.
-Have also installed many car stereos over the years.
Duo Motor Control System
2 motor control system run on a Ladder Logic Relay controller. System is equipped
with a Counter, Motor Reversing & a Safety emergency stop system.
3D Printer Build
Custom Build 3D printer. Started life as a Creality CR-10-S5.
-Has been upgraded with Linear Rails on all 3 axis,
120v Full bed heater, Pi 3b, & all metal Duo hotends with duo extruders.
– With this setup I am able to print with Nylon / Carbon Fiber material.
– It’s nice having a machine shop down stairs when you need to make custom metal parts.
Train Layout
Our Hobby has a lot of wiring involved in it. From all the power feeder lines to the tracks,
Control wiring for switch tracks, final you have all the lights & accessories that
need power to. Many of the accessories will need so controls install on them to control their operations.
